To gain followers on WeChat and to educate the Chinese consumers about the Portuguese brand of nearly 50 years of heritage, the agency was asked to create a digital campaign by the brand, that is engaging yet still be able to encourage sales. And because the campaign launch date fell around Valentine's Day, the idea "Find a perfect match and send a perfectly espresso to perfect the day!" was born.
User becomes a DeltaQ WeChat follower by search or scanning of a QR code to access the campaign homepage. The user then answer a series of quick questions to determine the flavor that suits their friend. User then invites friend either face-to-face or via sending of a unique link, in which the friend will join to make a perfect expresso. The friend who takes the expresso can virtually drink it to unveil the hidden message that was sent by user. Participants share a cup to receive e-coupons and a chance to win a free DeltaQ machine.
